Terms and Conditions
Ik Pas aims to support you during your periodic alcohol-free period. We believe it is of the utmost importance to treat the information you provide confidentially. The protection of your data is therefore a top priority for us. On this page we will let you know which data we register when you use our website, why we collect this data and how we use it to improve your user experience. This way you understand exactly how we work.
Collection and sharing of personal data.
When you register for one of our services, we ask you to provide some personal information.
We only ask you for the information that we need to be able to perform our service. The data is stored on IkPas's own secure server. To use this website, you must register and we ask you to enter your email address and the four digits of your zip code. Your email address will be used to contact you with relevant information about the promotion. Your zip code is needed to classify you in the region where you live (see under Affiliated Organizations).
If you want to use the option to order a wristband or pin from IkPas, you must also fill in your name, address and place of residence, so that the products you have ordered can be delivered. Our employees and the employees of our affiliated organizations that manage the IkPas groups are obliged to respect the confidentiality of your data.
In each IkPas region there is an organization responsible for the regional implementation of IkPas. This is possible because they produce a regional newsletter or organize local meetings. Below is an overview in which region and which organizations have access to the participant data from the region concerned. Only the regional IkPas coach of each organization has access to the data you have entered.

When you register, you will be automatically assigned to a regional group based on your zip code.
These groups are classified on the basis of the 25 GGD regions in the Netherlands.
The IkPas organization has appointed a group manager for each group. These group managers are often employed by the GGD of the region concerned.
When registering for participation, you can choose an extra IkPas group, but this is not mandatory.
Registering with a group does not mean that you can see who else is a member of the group: registration is individual. Each group has a group manager.
This group administrator has access to the information you have entered in your profile. The password you have entered is stored encrypted and is not visible to anyone.
The group manager works at a local or regional (prevention) institution, such as the GGD in your region, and only uses this data to communicate with you about IkPas.
The group administrator will not share or use this data outside of the purpose described above.
IkPas conducts research into the effects of the promotion. This research is being conducted by Tranzo, a scientific institute for health and well-being of Tilburg University. This institute will receive a one-time list of participants' email addresses. The addresses are used to approach participants for the IkPas research. At any time, participants can unsubscribe from the invitation email and the reminders to participate in the study. From that moment on, your email address will be automatically removed from the file and your address can no longer be used by the institute and you will no longer receive emails from Tranzo.
When you send e-mail or other messages to us, we may keep those messages. The emails sent to the domain ikpas.nl are exclusively stored on our secure server. We will not combine this information with any other personal information we have.
This website uses "cookies" (small text files placed on your computer) to help the website analyze how users use the site. This data is collected for us by Google Analytics.
The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website can be transferred to IkPas' own secure servers or those of a third party.
We use this information to keep track of how you use the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage.
